What Is Stored
The app stores progress in browser local storage: scores, streaks, kana mastery, weak-item review, selected study focus, mini-session summaries, timer history, and local human review notes.
Private by design.
Japan Ready Coach runs in the browser with no account system or app backend. Study progress stays local; Cloudflare may process delivery, security, and aggregate traffic data.
Where It Stays
That data stays in the browser and device where it was created. It is not sent to a server by this static study app. Clearing browser storage can delete progress.
Your Controls
The app includes export, import, and reset controls for local progress. Export a backup before switching browsers, clearing cache, or moving to another device.
Hosting and Aggregate Traffic
Cloudflare hosts and protects this site and may process connection information and aggregate web traffic data, such as page visits, browser or device information, and approximate region. Japan Ready Coach does not use that service to create a learner profile or sync study progress.
Advertising Cookies
If ads are shown on Japan Ready Coach, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
